Porsche 991 Turbo & Turbo S Tuning By Genome
The Porsche Turbo & Turbo S models are the flagship of the brands turbocharged road going cars only outshone by the GT2RS. The 991.1 Turbo ECU can be remapped through the vehicles onboard diagnostic port and owners can enjoy power increase up to 630hp without the requirement of additional hardware. The 991.2 Gen 2 variant of the Turbo & Turbo S models as well as other improvements boasts a redesign of the compressor wheel within the turbochargers to an upgraded billet option thus allowing performance levels to increase up to 650bhp from a re calibration of the ECU. In some cases we do need to remove the ECU from the car and unlock it prior to OBD tuning. With optional Performance hardware we have packages for the Porsche 991 & 991.2 turbo/S to increase power levels above and beyond 1000bhp consistently. We also have a full range of complimentary products including exhaust systems, suspension components and exterior/ interior upgrades.

The standard Porsche 991.1 Turbo and Turbo S models produce different figures from the factory, largely achieved by a more aggressive calibration on the Turbo S model. 520bhp & 487Ib for the Turbo model and 560bhp with 516Ib for the Turbo S model.
With our in-depth knowledge of the SDI21 engine management system our Porsche Turbo remap will work in harmony with the OEM components to produce 610bhp and more than 600Ib. With the addition of an upgraded exhaust system and a drop in air filter upgrade, you can further enhance these figures to 630bhp & 620Ib.
The Porsche Turbo stage 1 remap has been carefully developed using our in-house Dynapack hub dyno to ensure the utmost safety and reliability are maintained whilst producing astonishing power.

By utilising the stock turbos and remanufacturing them with larger improved billet compressor wheels coupled with a bigger turbine wheel and cut back, we can produce up to 750bhp using pump fuel.
This is not only relatively cost-effective for such an impressive performance gain but also retains most of the stock Porsche Turbo's driveability. This means everyday driving would have our client almost unaware they have another 200+hp under foot along with almost 250Ib.

This Porsche 911 turbo stage 3+ kit uses an upgraded version of our GD750 turbos where we upgrade the compressor housing to the latest GEN2 version along with the upgraded compressor and turbine wheels. We also machine a pair of inlet trumpets to suit the D088 silicone intake hoses.
All the above coupled with the hardware from our GD750 Stage 3 kit produces up to 900bhp. Our calibration engineers work with the best Porsche tuning tools utilising our 2000whp Dynapack hub dyno to perfectly balance power and torque. In the instance that we do not upgrade to Dodson clutch packs, torque will be limited to a safe level for the stock PDK gearbox.

Fine-tuned with additional hardware the limit of this standard car is around 510hp and 440Ib like the 991.2 S models. Due to its modular nature the bigger turbos from the S and GTS models can indeed be swapped directly to the base model allowing custom tuning to give massive power gains of up to 650bhp.
Whilst offering significant power and torque increases our packages are developed to work with the Porsche MG1 engine management systems OEM safety protocols. The GD500 Porsche 992 stage 1 tune has been developed in house using our bespoke hub dyno cell. Not using a 3rd party to buy OTS tuning means we have full control over what we develop. This Porsche 992 tune is a great example of that achieving circa 500bhp and 430Ib on the standard car using 98ron fuel.
We don't focus solely on power gains our high-quality software is fine tuned to give the best driving experience possible. Our stage 1 options include, exhaust valve control, auto start stop off, left foot brake enabled, and much more.
The Porsche 911 992 uses a twin turbo 3.0l engine which is a continuation of the 991.2. Whilst the engine is almost the same the external parts are different including the turbochargers. The entry level base model uses a smaller compressor wheel whereas the S and GTS models are slightly larger and run with more boost to offer increased power levels. This means we can take the larger turbos and install them to a base model Carrera and offer GTS engine management upgrades to a base model car.

Having spent hundreds of hours working closely on the SDI21 ECU found in the latest 718 generation of Porsche Cayman and Boxster we have been able to piece together a high-quality stage 2 package.
This Porsche 718 tuning package delivers 420bhp & 365Ib of torque. The driving experience of a Genome tuned Cayman is incredible. We have retained the factory throttle response and overall drive of the stock car whilst improving the power and torque in every other area of the calibration.
This Stage 2 Porsche 718 kit requires some hardware upgrades as a minimum to operate at optimum efficiency. The kit requires 100 cell sports cats, an upgraded air filter and preferably a high flow exhaust system.
Our GD420 kit offers factory levels of safety built into the engine management along with some of our own additional safety parameters for things like IAT, boost pressure limits and oil temp limitations.

The minimum requirements are sports cat downpipes, drop in air filter upgrade, cat back exhaust system.
